Choose from 22%, 35% carbamide peroxide or non-peroxide gel. Carbamide peroxide is the preferred whitening gel used by most dental professionals worldwide. Some dentists use hydrogen peroxide which is also very effective but carbamide peroxide has a longer shelf life. The gel lasts up to 2 years if kept in a cool place such as the refrigerator.
